Our History
The Romany Works Business Park is a 6-acre complex that started life as an army command ordnance depot in the war, hence the big hanger-type doors.
The site was acquired by the Farish Family in 1963 and renamed Romany Works to record the very successful range of Romany Boats built here during the Sixties for customers from all over the UK and America and many other parts of the world.
In 1984 the main central building was converted to provide much-needed accommodation for small and mid-size businesses in Dorset.
